Teleconference Training!
National Center on Full Faith and Credit presents:

Protection Orders and Indian Country
September 23, 2009 1:30 - 2:30 EDT

Native American women experience the highest rates of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking of any population in the United States. Due to complex civil and criminal jurisdictional constraints operating in Indian Country, some very innovative protection order remedies have recently emerged from tribal courts. This teleconference will discuss creative civil remedies for state, tribal, and territorial protection orders and review best practices for the enforcement of tribal protection orders across jurisdictions.

This training will be held via teleconference. Participants may submit questions prior to the teleconference via e-mail at ncffc@bwjp.org or take the opportunity to ask questions after the presentation or during the presentation as time allows.
