I found you posted on a lab band group blog saying you could use some womens clothing. are you still in need? I had lap band surgery 6 weeks ago and am shrinking out of my cloths and would love to donate to the women you help.

First of all, congratulations on your weight loss. Second, the shelter always needs donations, and many of the women are large. If you use the USPS you can use the PO Box address in the upper right hand corner. If you're using FEDEX use the street address, which is further down the right hand side.

Fabulous documentary EXCEPT it only discussed Indian on Indian rape...which is certainly systemic and heinous. However, Amnesty International states: At least 86% of all reported rape and sexual assault on Native American Women are perpetrated by non-Native men.
Seems to me that the people on these reservations are giving up. First, the drinking, to pacify the injustice imposted upon them over the few hundred years, and now, the men have given up, not only on themselves, but now their women,and treating them as bad as the Taliban treat the Afghan women.. which will only perpetuate, and thus do nothing for the future of the native people. I will pray, that ALL of the native people will wake up, stop the addiction, educate themselves, empower their men, women, and children to improve their livelihoods, and their souls. How if these men are so poor, and without work, can they afford drugs and alcohol? First, we must sober up, and then look within ourselves to step outside and see what is really going on..the fact that the US Govt only prosecutes a small % of these cases is a clear indication that they want these nations to fail. WAKE UP MEN! Get off your bottom, g\sober up, get a job, and treat your women with the respect, love and honor so that they can produce, and nuture strong confident young native children to grow, and improve your reservations! Your future rests on the souls of these women, who will pass on their protective shields to your offspring who may in turn create, and develope, improve quality of life for your future!
I was horrified to see this documentary...however, it is obvious to me that all cultures with "ancient wisdom" are being destroyed by the powers that be. They brought casinos onto reservations, knowing that native Americans actually have difficulty metabolizing alcohol, as well as that the native culture would be destroyed, and the people would lose their way. But what is NOT known by most is that vaccinations can damage the brain and cause violence; I suggest anyone interested order the book "Vaccinations, Social Violence & Criminality" by Harris Coulter from www.thinktwice.com (the only place I know where it can be purchased). I am sure the reservations are getting "special" vaccines to increase the likelihood of this problem occurring.
In fact, vaccines cause all autoimmune disease, non-traumatic seizures, cancer & genetic damage, in people and in pets...they ARE the true WMD, disguised as "disease protection"....

I feel so deeply saddened that Native American men don't respect their women anymore and have now become all the negative things that idiots have wanted people to believe. It is sad to feel how I have immensely admired and longed to embrace the Native American culture just to find these same people ruining the beauty of what once was. Men of all Native American Nations that are falling through the cracks....You were once beautiful people and so intact with nature and everything that goes with it, I could have bowed before you with great respect but now you have ruined that image and lost that respect. Wake up, Native America People,men, my fellow Americans, your ancestors paved the way, all that work for nothing, why don't you take a stand and be proud and show us your beauty again instead of being the typical drunks and murderers that already consume our nation by the millions from all other races and ethnicities. Be the holy men, the wise man...show us how it is done the way your forefathers would have done it!!!!!! NOT THE COWARDLY WAY!!!!!

Thank you for posting this video! I am hoping to put together a training for communities outside the reservations here in WI, so that we can better support Native victims. I'm so very grateful that you saved this for us!! & for the work you are doing~
